We are seeking a skilled Public Health Nurse to join our team at the Nova Scotia Health Authority. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, including hospitals, clinics, and community health centres.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide education and support to patients and communities on health promotion and disease prevention.
- Work collaboratively with healthcare teams to develop and implement health programs and services.
- Conduct assessments and provide care to individuals and communities, including those with complex health needs.
- Participate in emergency health care planning and response efforts.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the province of Nova Scotia.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in public health nursing or a related field.
