Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Case Manager to join our team at the YMCA of Greater Vancouver. As a Case Manager, you will be responsible for organizing and delivering a variety of Newcomer Services programs with a focus on Newcomer Youth and Self-employment for Newcomers with digital and entrepreneurial skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct needs assessments on each participant admitted into the case management stream
  • Plan events and program activities tailored for newcomers in the community
  • Assist clients to set goals and develop a realistic action plan
  • Develop and maintain workshop materials and curriculum
  • Facilitate interactive and relevant in-class digital skills workshops
  • Complete case note documentation and handle confidential data
  • Conduct marketing and outreach for the program
  • Provide customer service and respond to inquiries
  • Consult and collaborate with team members
Requirements
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma
  • Minimum of two years of group facilitation experience, job coaching an asset
  • Concrete digital skills knowledge
  • Experience working with various participant targets an asset
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle an asset
  • Excellent presentation and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of community resources
  • Well-developed interpersonal and relationship-building skills
