Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist II to join our team in Acute Rehabilitation. The successful candidate will provide high-quality occupational therapy services to patients in our acute care setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Implement evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to promote patient independence and functional ability.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Document patient progress and outcomes in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy and current registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in pediatric occupational therapy, preferably in an acute care setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to patient-centered care.
