Pediatric Occupational Therapist: Acute Rehabilitation Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our team as an Acute Rehabilitation Specialist. This is a rewarding opportunity to work with children and youth in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
About the RoleThis role will involve providing occupational therapy assessments and interventions to patients in acute care settings. You will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans that promote optimal recovery and function.
Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments of patients in acute care settings.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address patient goals and needs.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless delivery of care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Stay up-to-date with best practices and evidence-based research in occupational therapy.
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent.
- Current registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia.
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in pediatric occupational therapy, preferably in an acute care setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Competitive salary: $84,900 - $104,400 per year, depending on experience.
