Capital Projects Coordinator

As a key member of our team, the Capital Projects Coordinator will play a crucial role in the planning, designing, and implementation of assigned capital construction projects. This position will work closely with the Manager of Capital Implementation and various regulatory agencies to ensure compliance and workmanship.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate the planning, designing, and tendering of capital construction projects
- Supervise construction activities and ensure compliance with district and ministry policies
- Liaise with School-Based Building Committees and stakeholders to advise on budget, scope, and project timelines
- Manage assigned projects to completion, including budgeting, reporting, and tracking progress
- Administer contracts, review documents, and monitor project changes
- High school graduation or equivalent
- Technologist or Technician certification in a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in construction and 3 years in project management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good analytical and logical problem-solving ability
- Good computer skills and valid BC driver's license
