Actuarial Associate, Strategic Initiatives Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Actuarial Associate to join our Strategic Initiatives team at Sun Life. As an Actuarial Associate, you will play a key role in supporting the growth and development of our Defined Benefit Solutions business.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will have the following key responsibilities:
- Innovation & Solution Development
- Contribute to the development of innovative solutions to support the growth strategy of our Defined Benefit Solutions business.
- Collaborate with internal partners to explore and implement new ideas.
- Support the execution of key feasibility studies by conducting research and providing recommendations.
- Inforce Management
- Partner with cross-functional teams to identify and execute opportunities to better manage our inforce group annuities.
- Execute initiatives to optimize and enhance member experience.
- Extract value from data and leverage technology to support strategic initiatives.
- Requirements
- Bilingualism (French and English) is required for Quebec-based roles.
- Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrates intellectual curiosity and a willingness to challenge the status quo.
- Highly motivated individual with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Achieved or working towards an actuarial designation.
