Administrative Coordinator

Avalon College Limited o/a Avalon Career College is seeking an experienced Administrative Support Professional to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our staff, ensuring the smooth operation of our office.
Key Responsibilities- Arrange and coordinate seminars, conferences, and other events
- Plan and control budgets and expenditures
- Supervise other workers and provide guidance and support as needed
- Establish and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient office operations
- Train other workers on new procedures and systems
- Record and prepare minutes of meetings, seminars, and conferences
- Determine and establish office procedures and routines to improve productivity
- Oversee the classification and rating of occupations
- Plan, develop, and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent
- Schedule and confirm appointments and meetings
- Manage contracts and agreements with vendors and partners
- Manage training and development strategies to enhance staff skills and knowledge
- Answer telephone calls and relay messages to staff members
- Oversee the analysis of employee data and information to inform business decisions
- Answer electronic inquiries and respond to customer requests
- Oversee the development of communication strategies to engage with stakeholders
- Compile data, statistics, and other information to support business objectives
- Oversee the preparation of reports and presentations to senior management
- Advise senior management on administrative matters and provide recommendations for improvement
- Respond to employee questions and complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Order office supplies and maintain inventory levels
- Liaise with management, union officials, and HR consultants to resolve issues and improve office operations
- Negotiate collective agreements on behalf of employers or workers
- Organize staff consultation and grievance procedures to ensure fair treatment
- Oversee payroll administration and ensure accurate payment of staff
- Arrange travel, related itineraries, and make reservations as needed
- Greet people and direct them to contacts or service areas
- Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems
- Type and proofread correspondence, forms, and other documents
- Conduct research to inform business decisions and improve office operations
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records
- Provide customer service and respond to customer inquiries
- Work with the marketing department to understand and communicate marketing messages to the field
- Assign, coordinate, and review projects and programs to ensure successful outcomes
- Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to achieve business objectives
