Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Support Professional to join our team at SHIPCART DISTRIBUTION SERVICES. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our team, including coordinating seminars, conferences, and other events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and arrange seminars, conferences, and other events
  • Supervise and train other administrative staff
  • Establish and implement policies and procedures
  • Record and prepare minutes of meetings, seminars, and conferences
  • Determine and establish office procedures and routines
  • Plan, develop, and implement recruitment strategies
  • Schedule and confirm appointments
  • Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages
  • Answer electronic enquiries
  • Compile data, statistics, and other information
  • Respond to employee questions and complaints
  • Perform data entry
  • Provide customer service
  • Recruit and hire staff
  • Assign, coordinate, and review projects and programs
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in an administrative role
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • Equivalent experience
  • 3-4 years of experience in supervising other workers
  • Permanent employment
  • English language proficiency
  • 40 hours per week
