Administrative Support Specialist

A key member of our team at A's General Contracting Inc., the Administrative Assistant will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office. This includes coordinating the flow of information within the team, directing staff, and motivating them to achieve their best. The successful candidate will also be responsible for planning and organizing daily operations, establishing and implementing policies and procedures, and scheduling and confirming appointments.

In addition to these tasks, the Administrative Assistant will be responsible for managing contracts, compiling data, statistics, and other information, and overseeing the preparation of reports. They will also be responsible for ordering office supplies and maintaining inventory, typing and proofreading correspondence, forms, and other documents, and performing data entry.

The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to multitask and work under pressure. They will also have a strong understanding of MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word, and be able to provide cultural competency training and awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.

This is a permanent position, working 35 hours per week, with the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive team environment.
