What is the opportunity?

In this role, you will be responsible for fostering strong relationships between RBC Investor Services and the Broker/Dealer community. You will provide support to the Broker Dealer community and assist in the communication of new product launches. You will manage and act as the primary contact for Strategic external Brokers, Dealers or Intermediaries and build a strong and effective relationship with the dealer community by continuous communication and touchpoint meetings during the year to educate and grow an understanding of pain points.

What will you do?

  • Raise awareness amongst Dealers to RBC Investor Services presence in the marketplace.
  • To develop and maintain relationships to ensure consistent quality of service delivery for our key strategic partners.
  • Distribution of Fund Fact Sheet
  • Maintenance of Dealer and Intermediary Agreements; setup and maintenance of dealers on the System within SLA
  • Communication and monitor and disseminate information using Fundserv's Fund Company Bulletin automatic mailing service.
  • Respond to Fundserv file issues and trade rejection inquiries that are encountered across all Fundserv management companies.
  • Review daily new sales person reporting and email inquiries and ensure that information is entered into the System within the SLA.
  • Monitor, flag, action and file emails from generic Dealer Relations inbox.
  • Reconcile and manage commission and trailer fee payments.
  • Maintain a dealer contact management database.

What do you need to succeed?

Must have:

  • Bilingual Language Proficiency in English/French
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience in the financial or asset servicing industry
  • Completion of the IFIC Operations of Mutual Funds course
  • Segregated Funds knowledge
  • Previous Customer/Dealer service experience
