LanceSoft is seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to join our team in Calgary. This role will be responsible for providing support to business leaders and employees, ensuring proper support in all steps of the employee life cycle, and managing HR processes such as performance evaluation and compensation/promotion.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Law or equivalent, and 1-2 years of HR Generalist experience with a strong client focus and analytical skills. The ability to deal with uncertainties and manage difficult conversations is essential.

This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic organization, collaborating with multiple HR functions on various initiatives. We offer a competitive salary range between $80,000-$110,000 per year, depending on experience, and opportunities for growth and development.

Responsibilities:

  • Actively work with business leaders and employees to support day-to-day needs
  • Ensure proper support in all steps of the employee life cycle from onboarding to termination
  • Provide support and smooth management of HR processes such as performance evaluation and compensation/promotion
  • Manage employee relations issues, including partnering with Employee Relations and/or Employment Law
  • Advise clients on the resolution of employee relations and performance management issues, provide coaching, counseling, and conflict resolution
  • Partner with multiple HR functions on various initiatives
  • Ensure consistent policies across the organization and make adjustments when needed
  • Advise and coach management on review of underperformers and development plans
  • Manage international transfers into and out of Canada
  • Handle departmental reporting and tax credit submission files
  • Answer employee questions on HR policies and processes
  • Manage ergonomics request process
  • Manage maternity, paternity, and parental leaves
  • Update HR system with transactions (Workday)
  • Set up and manage non-technical HR-related training
