Hotel Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel Manager to join our team at Super 8 Motels. As a Hotel Manager, you will be responsible for the overall operation of the hotel, ensuring that it runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and Implement Policies and Procedures: Create and implement policies and procedures for daily hotel operations, ensuring that they are aligned with company standards and goals.
- Prepare Budgets and Monitor Revenues and Expenses: Prepare and manage budgets for the hotel, monitoring revenues and expenses to ensure that the hotel is operating within budget.
- Prepare Marketing Plans: Develop and implement marketing plans to attract and retain guests, increasing revenue and occupancy rates.
- Implement Marketing Activities: Coordinate and implement marketing activities, such as advertising and promotions, to increase brand awareness and drive sales.
- Enforce Policies and Procedures: Ensure that all hotel staff are aware of and adhere to company policies and procedures, maintaining a high level of customer service and satisfaction.
- Address Customer Complaints: Respond to and resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner, ensuring that guests have a positive experience.
- Assist Clients/Guests with Special Needs: Provide assistance to guests with special needs, ensuring that their stay is comfortable and enjoyable.
- Develop and Implement Business Plans: Develop and implement business plans to drive revenue growth and improve hotel operations.
- Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules for hotel staff, ensuring that the hotel is adequately staffed at all times.
Requirements:
- College/CEGEP education
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in hotel management
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Work Environment:
- Permanent position
- 40 hours per week
- English language required
