Northern Leadership Development Program Instructor

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Instructor to join our team at Aurora College's Northern Leadership Development Program. As an Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality educational programming to adults, focusing on leadership development and community governance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and deliver educational programming for adults, including courses related to the Northern Leadership Development Program.
- Evaluate program effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement.
- Liaise with the advisory committee and contract staff to ensure program success.
- Teach in other programs if expertise aligns with curriculum content.
- Manage and maintain a learning environment conducive to providing high-quality education.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in education, organizational development, human resources, or a related field.
- Certification in leadership coaching or training.
- 3 years' experience in a leadership role.
- 2 years' experience working with Aboriginal governments or Northern community governance structures.
Bona Fide Requirements:
- Completion of six weeks of full-time coursework in adult education within the first two years of employment.
- Completion of a certificate in Adult Education within five years of hire.
What We Offer:
A competitive salary range of $53.80 per hour to $64.26 per hour, plus an annual Northern Allowance of $3,700.
