Job Title: Instructor, Northern Leadership Development Program

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Instructor to join our team at Aurora College's Northern Leadership Development Program. As an Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality educational programming to adults, focusing on leadership development and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, and deliver educational programming for adults, including courses related to the Northern Leadership Development Program.
  • Evaluate program effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Liaise with the advisory committee and contract staff to ensure program success.
  • Teach in other programs if expertise aligns with curriculum content.
  • Manage and maintain a learning environment conducive to providing high-quality education.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in education, organizational development, human resources, or a related field.
  • Certification in leadership coaching or training.
  • 3 years' experience in a leadership role.
  • 2 years' experience working with Aboriginal governments or Northern community governance structures.

Bona Fide Requirements:

  • Completion of six weeks of full-time coursework in adult education within the first two years of employment.
  • Completion of a certificate in Adult Education within five years of hire.

What We Offer:

A competitive salary range of $53.80 per hour to $64.26 per hour, plus an annual Northern Allowance of $3,700.
