Kitchen Manager

Kajohn Thai Restaurant is seeking a highly skilled and experienced kitchen manager to lead our culinary team. This role requires a strong passion for delivering exceptional food quality and outstanding customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage Kitchen Operations: Supervise and coordinate the preparation and cooking of meals, ensuring timely delivery and presentation.
- Lead Culinary Team: Train, mentor, and motivate kitchen staff to achieve highest standards of food quality and safety.
- Cooking and Menu Planning: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, plan menus, and estimate food requirements for their realization.
- Purchasing and Inventory: Requisition food and kitchen supplies, maintain inventory, and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
- Health and Safety: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and standards.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate with relevant training or certification.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a related field, preferably in a restaurant setting.
- Skillset: Excellent cooking skills, ability to work under pressure, attention to detail, and physical stamina.
- Languages: Fluency in English, knowledge of Thai language an asset.
- Competitive Salary: $50,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
