Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef and Kitchen Manager to join our team at Summit Cafe. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality dishes are prepared and presented to our customers.

About the Role
  • This is a full-time position requiring a minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts, with excellent leadership and communication skills.
Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.
  2. Inspect kitchens and food service areas to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  3. Order supplies and equipment as needed to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  4. Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  5. Clean kitchen and work areas to meet health and safety regulations.
  6. Manage kitchen operations, including staff supervision and training.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Repetitive tasks and standing for extended periods.
  • Flexibility, reliability, and teamwork skills.
  • English language proficiency.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent position with a typical working week of 35 to 40 hours per week.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this role is $45,000 to $60,000, depending on experience. Additionally, you will enjoy benefits such as health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
