Kitchen Supervisor at First Sight Coffee & Bar

We are seeking a skilled Kitchen Supervisor to join our team at First Sight Coffee & Bar. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, supervising and coordinating the activities of our food preparation team, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of our food preparation team to ensure efficient and effective food production.
  • Maintain the highest standards of quality and safety in the kitchen, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies, ensuring that we have the necessary ingredients and equipment to meet our menu requirements.
  • Train and develop our kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to help them improve their skills and performance.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet our menu demands.
  • Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards, meeting the expectations of our customers.

Requirements:

  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Knowledge of food safety and health regulations.
