About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the product owners, business analysts, project managers, and business system support teams. They will develop application strategy, implement enterprise applications, manage lifecycles, and provide ongoing support and maintenance while managing vendor relationships.

This leadership role requires strong technical skills, business acumen, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading high-performing teams and driving digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a strategic plan for the organization's enterprise applications in alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Provide leadership and direction to the enterprise applications team.
  • Build and manage a high-performing team, ensuring staff development, engagement, and effective collaboration.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to define clear and actionable user stories that capture the requirements for new features or improvements.
  • Ensure seamless integration between various enterprise applications, such as ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), WMS (Warehouse Management Systems), HCM (Human Capital Management), Merchandising, and POS (Point of Sale) systems.
  • Partner with the security team to implement and enforce security policies and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Implement optimizations to enhance efficiency and user experience.
  • Develop and manage the budget for enterprise applications, ensuring cost-effectiveness and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by staying informed about industry trends, evaluating new technologies, and recommending improvements to existing systems and processes.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Significant experience in leadership roles, preferably in a senior management position overseeing enterprise applications or IT.
  • Knowledge of Blue Yonder (JDA), Relex, Microsoft, Oracle, and similar Enterprise Applications.
  • Proven experience in managing and implementing enterprise applications such as ERP, WMS, Merchandising, and other relevant systems.
  • Strong leadership and management capabilities, including 10+ years of experience leading a team.
  • Relevant certifications in project management, enterprise architecture, or specific enterprise applications can be beneficial.
