Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Transportation Dispatcher to join our team at EasyWay Corp.

Job Summary:

The Transportation Dispatcher will be responsible for coordinating the movement of trucks, drivers, and freight to ensure timely and efficient delivery of client products. This role involves communication with drivers, customers, and other stakeholders to manage schedules, resolve issues, and optimize transportation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate deliveries, assign pick-up requests, and enter orders into TMS (Rose Rocket) as required.
  • Assign appointment freight deliveries to trucks, manifest shipments, and check for expedited shipments.
  • Use tracking systems to monitor the location and progress of trucks in real-time and address any delays or disruptions.
  • Handle and resolve issues such as breakdowns, traffic delays, or other unexpected challenges.
  • Collaborate with 3rd-party carriers to ensure scheduled pick-ups and delivery commitments are met.
  • Work with coordinators and sales to obtain business through load boards.
  • Monitor driver KPIs and report findings to the Director.

Requirements:

  • Previous dispatching experience in the transportation industry.
  • Strong English written and verbal skills.
  • Strong understanding of MS Office products.
  • Previous experience with TMS systems.
