Job Title: Restaurant Operations Manager
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at Big Bite Pita. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
- Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures
- Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms
- Conduct performance reviews to ensure team members are meeting expectations
- Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations
- Organize and maintain inventory to ensure optimal stock levels
- Ensure health and safety regulations are followed to maintain a safe working environment
- Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies
- Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities
- Participate in marketing plans and implementation to drive sales and growth
- Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner
- Provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction
- Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure seamless execution
Requirements:
- 5-10 years of experience in a restaurant management role
- Proven track record of success in managing daily operations and improving efficiency
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to maintain accurate records and reports
- Knowledge of MS Excel, MS Office, and MS Outlook
- Ability to work in a team environment and build strong relationships with colleagues and customers
