Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

Okanagan Good Food Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that all food and service meet quality control standards. This includes supervising and coordinating the activities of staff, training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and maintaining records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.

Responsibilities:
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
  • Prepare and submit reports
  • Establish work schedules
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience
  • Fast-paced environment
  • Work under pressure
  • Standing for extended periods
  • Attention to detail
Work Environment:

The Food Service Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, and working under pressure. The ideal candidate will have excellent oral communication skills, be a team player, and have initiative.
