About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at East Side Mario's. As a Kitchen Helper, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items to a high standard
  • Portion and wrap foods accurately and efficiently
  • Keep records of food quantities used and maintain a clean and organized kitchen
  • Stock refrigerators and salad bars, and receive, unpack, and store supplies
  • Provide excellent customer service, taking orders and serving customers at counters or buffet tables
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, work surfaces, and storage areas
  • Handle and store cleaning products safely and effectively
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and maintain a clean and tidy working environment
Work Environment

As a Kitchen Helper at East Side Mario's, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to stand for extended periods, work under pressure, and maintain a high level of physical activity throughout your shift.

Requirements
  • Will train on the job
  • Ability to work in a team environment and provide excellent customer service
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects, and stand for extended periods
