Kitchen Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at East Side Mario's. As a Kitchen Helper, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen.
Responsibilities:- Assist in food preparation, including portioning, wrapping, and heating food items.
- Keep accurate records of food quantities used.
- Stock refrigerators, salad bars, and other storage areas with supplies.
- Receive, unpack, and store incoming supplies.
- Maintain a clean and sanitized kitchen environment, including work surfaces, cupboards, and equipment.
- Handle and store cleaning products safely.
- Remove kitchen garbage and trash.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by kitchen staff.
Our kitchen is a fast-paced environment where you will be standing for extended periods and working under pressure. You will be required to walk, bend, and crouch to perform tasks.
Requirements:- No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Will train on the job.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
We offer a permanent position with 30-40 hours of work per week. Our work language is English, and we are committed to supporting newcomers and refugees through foreign credential recognition and on-the-job training.
