Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Assistant to join our team at East Side Mario's. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, preparing and serving food to our customers, and providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook food to order, following recipes and presentation guidelines
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including cleaning and sanitizing equipment and utensils
  • Restock supplies and ingredients as needed
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and prioritizing tasks
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional manner
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment an asset
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
