Kitchen Assistant Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Assistant to join our team at East Side Mario's. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, preparing and serving food to our customers, and supporting our kitchen staff in their daily tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and serve food to customers in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including cleaning and sanitizing equipment and work surfaces
  • Assist kitchen staff with food preparation, portioning, and presentation
  • Restock supplies and ingredients as needed
  • Work effectively in a team environment to ensure seamless service to our customers
Requirements:
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
  • Basic math skills and ability to handle cash and credit transactions
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
