Kitchen Helper Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at East Side Mario's. As a Kitchen Helper, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in food preparation, including portioning, wrapping, and plating
  • Keep accurate records of food quantities and inventory
  • Maintain a clean and sanitized kitchen environment
  • Restock refrigerators, freezers, and storage areas
  • Handle and store cleaning products safely
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by kitchen staff
Work Environment:

As a Kitchen Helper, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to stand for extended periods, work under pressure, and perform a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
