Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Manager to join our team at Torrid. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales associates to achieve sales and profit goals, while providing an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management: Direct and lead a team of sales associates to achieve sales and profit goals, while fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Store Operations: Ensure the store is operating efficiently and effectively, including managing inventory, merchandise, and visual displays.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that customers have a positive shopping experience and are satisfied with their purchases.
  • Recruitment and Training: Recruit, train, and develop top talent to ensure a high-performing team.
  • Merchandise and Visual Displays: Implement merchandise strategies and maintain a clean, consistent, and inviting store environment that inspires customers to shop.
  • Communication: Maintain an effective and open line of communication with District Manager and HQ partners.
Requirements
  • Experience: At least 1-2 years of specialty/apparel retail management experience with proven ability to lead teams to success.
  • Education: High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience. College degree is a plus.
  • Skills: Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, commitment to creating an amazing customer experience, and flexibility to adapt to changing situations.
  • Physical Requirements: Able to stand and walk around during scheduled shifts, pack and unpack shipments, arrange and move store fixtures, and move packages weighing up to 50 lbs.
