Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Payroll Specialist to join our team at Fed Finance Canada. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the complete payroll cycle, including multi-province and US payroll, as well as unionized and non-unionized payroll.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the payroll cycle, including processing, reporting, and compliance
  • Develop and implement payroll processes and procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiency
  • Provide guidance and support to employees on payroll-related matters
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of payroll with other business functions
  • Stay up-to-date with changing payroll regulations and laws

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in payroll, preferably in an accounting firm
  • Supervisory experience, preferably in a payroll or accounting role
  • Proficiency in multi-province and US payroll, as well as unionized and non-unionized payroll
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in French and English
  • Experience with payroll software and systems
