About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Support Specialist to join our team at Mayflower Health Care Services Ltd. As an Office Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our healthcare institution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to our healthcare team, including opening and distributing mail, planning and organizing daily operations, and scheduling appointments.
  • Communication: Answer telephone calls and relay messages, respond to employee questions and complaints, and provide customer service to patients and visitors.
  • Documentation: Type and proofread correspondence, forms, and other documents, and perform data entry tasks.
  • Supply Management: Order office supplies and maintain inventory levels.
  • Database Management: Maintain and manage digital databases, including patient records and other sensitive information.
  • Work Environment: Evaluate work environments, programs, and procedures to control, eliminate, and prevent disease or injury.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a healthcare or administrative setting.
  • Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Outlook, and MS Word.
  • Personal Qualities: Ability to work independently, work under pressure, multitask, and be flexible.
