Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Client Service Associate to join our team at The Successful Investor. As a key member of our Wealth Management department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional client service and support.

The Successful Investor is a well-established wealth management and investment publishing firm with over 25 years of experience in subscription marketing and independent portfolio management. Our company has assets under management nearing $1 billion and growing rapidly.

Your Role

As a Client Service Associate, you will be the first point of contact for all incoming client calls and email inquiries. You will maintain professionalism in each interaction, resolving issues promptly and efficiently. Your strong relationship management skills will enable you to build long-lasting relationships with clients and contribute to the growth of our organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and manage client inquiries and requests, prioritizing tasks to ensure timely resolution.
  • Liaise with the Portfolio Management team to resolve complex client issues.
  • Engage with clients professionally, actively listening to their concerns and providing solutions.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients by delivering exceptional support and upholding our customer-first culture.
  • Develop expertise in our wealth management services, software, procedures, and paperwork to ensure optimal client service.
  • Provide first-line response to client inquiries, recording keeping requirements, and account maintenance tasks.
  • Process new account openings, RRSP/RRIF conversions, tax enquiry resolutions, and other administrative tasks.
  • Record/update customer information within our CRM database.
  • Assist with client onboarding, administrative support, and special projects as required.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of customer service experience.
  • Previous office administration experience.
  • Previous Wealth Management/Financial Services/Brokerage experience.
  • Solid knowledge of the investment industry and best practices.
  • Strong command of the English language, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel.
  • CSC (Canadian Securities Course) is considered an asset but not required.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, and a dynamic work environment that combines the best of both remote and in-office work.
