We are seeking a skilled and experienced Corporate Client Service Professional to join our team at The Successful Investor. As a key member of our Wealth Management department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional client service and support to high-net-worth individuals.

Job Overview

In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for all incoming client calls and email inquiries. You will maintain professionalism in each interaction and work closely with our Portfolio Management team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Client Service Associate or similar role at a wealth management and/or asset management firm. You will possess strong relationship management skills, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic and hybrid work environment.

You will receive inbound phone calls and email inquiries from clients and prospects, acknowledging, troubleshooting, and following up as necessary to provide timely and accurate resolution. You will also develop expertise and knowledge regarding our wealth management services, software, procedures, and paperwork to ensure optimal client service and assistance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and respond to all inbound Wealth Management phone calls and email inquiries from clients and prospects.
  • Acknowledge, troubleshoot, and follow up as necessary to provide timely and accurate resolution via phone and email.
  • Foster strong long-lasting relationships with clients by providing exceptional client support and upholding our customer-first culture.
  • Develop expertise and knowledge regarding our wealth management services, software, procedures, and paperwork to ensure optimal client service and assistance.
  • Coordinate and lead client tax inquiry resolution.
  • Answer general account questions, including assisting with online web access, password setup and reset, download statements and missing tax slips for clients.
  • Provide account balances and initiate the process to execute account cash calls, EFTs, contributions, withdrawals, deposit requests, and beneficiary changes on registered accounts.
  • Record/update customer information within our CRM database.

You will also assist and provide administrative support to the Wealth Management team members for additional client care, tasks, and special projects as required. Additionally, you will coordinate and process various mailouts to clients, including quarterly invoicing, client letters, pooled fund statements, and holiday/birthday greeting cards.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
  • At least 3 years of customer service experience.
  • Previous office administration experience.
  • Previous Wealth Management/Financial Services/Brokerage experience.
  • Solid knowledge of the investment industry and best practices.
  • Strong command of the English language, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel.
  • Completion of CSC (Canadian Securities Course) is considered an asset but not required.
