Resonaite is seeking a seasoned ServiceNow expert to lead the implementation of our Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) module.

We are offering a highly competitive salary of $120,000 per annum for this exciting opportunity in Ottawa. This position offers a unique blend of technical expertise and business acumen to drive the successful delivery of our SPM initiative.

About the Role:

This is an exceptional opportunity to leverage your extensive experience with ServiceNow OOTB configurations and integrations to design and implement a robust SPM solution. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with stakeholders to develop a comprehensive understanding of their business needs and objectives.

  • Solution Design and Architecture: Develop a structured approach to define the solution's components, integration points, and existing system interfaces.
  • Environment Setup: Configure user roles, permissions, and access control to ensure seamless collaboration within the SPM module.
  • SPM Module Configuration: Establish portfolios, project hierarchies, and relationships to optimize resource allocation and demand management.
  • Project Management: Utilize OOTB project templates to standardize project creation and configure workflows to manage project lifecycles.
  • Demand Management: Set up intake processes using OOTB forms and workflows, and prioritize demands based on established criteria.
  • Resource Management: Allocate resources to projects and demands using Resource Plans and Calendars.
  • Financial Management: Track project and portfolio financials through Cost Plans and Budget Tracking features.
  • Integration: Leverage OOTB integrations with other ServiceNow modules to ensure data flow and migrate existing data into the SPM module.
  • Testing: Develop test plans, conduct thorough testing, and validate configuration through User Acceptance Testing sessions.
  • Training and Documentation: Create training materials and deliver end-user training on OOTB features.
  • Deployment: Deploy the configured SPM module in the pilot environment and provide support for any issues that may arise.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • 5+ years of experience as a ServiceNow SME with hands-on expertise in SPM modules.
  • Proven experience with ServiceNow OOTB configurations and integrations.
  • Strong understanding of SPM components: Portfolio, Project, Demand, Resource, and Financial Management.
  • Expertise in User Role Management, workflows, and resource allocation.
  • Hands-on experience with testing processes (Test Plans, UAT) and deployment practices.
  • Proficiency in developing training materials and delivering end-user training.
  • Familiarity with ITSM, HRSD, and other ServiceNow ecosystem integrations.
