Royal Bank of Canada is seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Relationship Manager to join our team. This is a senior role that requires professional relationship management and delivering top-tier financial advice throughout the value chain of content creation in the media industry.

Responsibilities:
This role involves delivering value-added financial advice and solutions tailored to clients in television, film, music, digital media, and other sub-sectors. You will leverage sales enabling tools, including sales planning, prospecting, and pre-call planning tools. A continuous-improvement approach will be applied to deliver a superior client experience.

Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you must have minimum 2-3 years of experience in commercial lending, preferably with previous banking experience in a relationship management role. A post-secondary diploma/degree in commerce or business administration, or related experience, is required. Demonstrated success in a business development role, especially with respect to the acquisition of new clients, prospecting, and cold calling, is essential. Financial statement review and computer modeling and analysis experience are also necessary.

Preferred Qualifications:
Specialized industry expertise in a previous role (e.g., technology, real estate, not for profit and public sector) is desirable. A post-graduate degree, professional designation (CPA, CA, CFA), or other relevant industry experience may be beneficial. Passion for providing quality advice and fulfilling client needs is crucial. Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills are required, as well as an entrepreneurial attitude and self-motivation to achieve above-average results.

Compensation:
The estimated salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, you will receive a comprehensive Total Rewards Program, including performance-based bonuses, flexible benefits, and competitive compensation.
