We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Financial Audit Manager to join our team at Alphonsus & Associates P.C. as a full-time position. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial audits and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Job Description

As a Senior Financial Audit Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading audit engagements in accordance with Canadian Auditing Standards (CAS), Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises (ASPE) International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Not for Profit Organizations (NPO) and firm policies.
  • Mentoring a team of auditors and guiding them through the audit process.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and communicating effectively.
  • Staying updated on relevant accounting standards and auditing practices to ensure compliance.
  • Providing technical guidance to team members and clients regarding accounting and auditing issues.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • A Professional accounting designation (CPA, CA, or equivalent).
  • Minimum 5-7 years of audit experience, preferably within a public accounting firm.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and auditing standards.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Compensation

The salary for this position is estimated to be between $95,000.00-$120,000.00 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, you can expect:
