Quality Assurance and Compliance Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Manager to oversee the development and maintenance of our Quality Management System (QMS) to meet customer requirements and industry standards.

Job SummaryThe Quality Assurance Manager will lead training programs, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards, collaborating cross-functionally to provide technical support and contribute to health and safety initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:- Quality Management System: Oversee the Company's Quality Management system, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and production targets.
- Manage the development, maintenance, and certification of the Quality Management System (QMS) according to IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and applicable CQI standards.
- Serve as the IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 management systems representative.
- Conduct training programs on IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and quality standards for employees.
- Continuous Improvement: Pioneer innovative methods and systems within the Quality department to elevate service quality for our customers.
- Lead 8D Corrective Action Reports (including 5Y and Fishbone) and verify their effectiveness.
- Foster a culture of continual improvement and zero defects.
- Implement and manage quality initiatives including PPAP, FMEA, Control Plan, MSA, SPC, and VDA 6.3.
- Auditing and Compliance: Schedule and perform internal audits; coordinate external audits and corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with RoHS, REACH, Conflict Minerals, Prop 65, IMDS, UL, CSA, and other regulatory requirements.
- Quality Control and Assurance: Oversee quality inspection and test procedures, and standardize processes for efficiency.
- Manage quality issues, non-conformances, and warranty problems.
- Implement and maintain an effective SPC program to improve product quality.
- Handle supplier quality and maintain an effective product incoming inspection program (STS, SL, sampling inspection, etc.).
- Manage the calibration of equipment and tools, ensuring compliance with industry standards and Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA) requirements.
- Degree in mechanical engineering, manufacturing/industrial, or a related field.
- 8+ years of quality experience in manufacturing, preferably in the automotive industry.
- 5+ years of leadership/management experience.
- Proficient in IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and CQI standards implementation and maintenance.
- Expertise in AIAG core processes: APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plan, MSA, and SPC.
- Knowledge of VDA standards and regulatory compliance (RoHS, REACH, etc.).
- Strong skills in root cause analysis, problem-solving, and managing non-conformances.
- Proficient in customer, registrar, supplier, and internal audits (ISO 19011 auditor preferred).
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Spanish communication skills (written and verbal) are an asset.
- Proven experience in building strong working relationships.
- Proactive, solutions-focused, and able to travel internationally.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Estimated Salary Range: $97,430 - $126,940 per annum
