This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to work in a fast-paced environment, performing a variety of clerical duties to support the efficient registration of patients.
Key responsibilities include:
- Obtaining necessary patient demographic information and registering patients on computer systems
- Performing all receptionist functions, including directing and controlling patient movement
- Maintaining accurate death records
- Making telephone calls as requested
- Requesting charts from Health Records
**Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- One (1) year related experience in an office, clinical environment, or patient registration department
- Fluently bilingual in both English and French
- Keyboarding speed: 35 wpm
- Ability to retain information that is confidential in nature
- Good interpersonal communication skills
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills
- Legible handwriting
