Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Patient Registration Clerk to join our team at CancerCare Manitoba. As a Patient Registration Clerk, you will be responsible for registering new patients by collecting accurate demographic and essential identification information. This role requires flexibility to work between St. Boniface and MacCharles sites as assigned.

About the Role

This is a permanent full-time position working 7.75 hours per day, with an anticipated start date of January 13, 2025. The hourly salary range is $20.513 to $23.780.

Responsibilities
  • Register new patients by collecting accurate demographic and essential identification information.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and privacy according to CCMB policy.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals.
Requirements
  • High school graduate (Grade XII) or equivalent.
  • Minimum one year demonstrated experience in a healthcare-related field or patient registration department.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and attention to detail skills.
  • Satisfactory employment record.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Working experience with Microsoft Office programs and electronic medical records.
  • Proficiency in medical terminology.
  • Experience volunteering or working in a healthcare environment.
