Job Summary

The Human Resources Business Partner will provide strategic HR guidance to defined client groups, ensuring the successful integration and achievement of organizational priorities and goals. This role will be involved in the development and implementation of progressive and effective programs, solutions, and initiatives for the assigned client group(s) and the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Employee / Labour Relations: Provide guidance and support on employee relations, including conflict resolution, performance management, and disciplinary actions.
  • Organizational Development: Assist in the development and implementation of organizational development initiatives, including change management, communication, and training.
  • Disability Case Management: Support the management of disability cases, including return-to-work programs and accommodations.
  • Full-Cycle Recruitment: Manage the full recruitment cycle, including job postings, candidate sourcing, interviews, and offer extensions.
  • Employee Development and Engagement: Provide coaching and advising to business leaders on employee development and engagement strategies.
Requirements
  • Education: Post-Secondary Education in Human Resources or a related discipline.
  • Experience: Minimum of 7-9 years of Human Resources experience on a national/international basis.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of employee/labour relations, recruitment, health and safety, disability management, compensation, benefits, and training.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required; fluency in French is considered an asset.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in an industrial and/or manufacturing, and/or construction environment.
  • Experience working within a unionized environment.
  • CHRL designation.
