We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Layout Designer to join our team at Ausenco. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality mechanical layouts for our projects.
- Develop and maintain mechanical layouts in 2D and 3D environments.
- Prepare detailed drawings and reports to support project requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design consistency and accuracy.
- Adhere to industry standards and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Provide input on proposal and estimate development.
- Facilitate interdisciplinary coordination and ensure model accuracy.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Mechanical Engineering Technician diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in mechanical layout and design drafting, preferably in a large project, multidisciplinary EPC/EPCM environment.
- Experience with Autodesk products, including Autocad, AdvanceSteel, and Plant3D.
- Strong understanding of mineral processing equipment and interconnecting equipment and chutework.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
