Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef de Partie to join our culinary team at TIGH-NA-MARA RESORTS LTD. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of our menu items, ensuring exceptional quality and consistency in every dish.

Responsibilities
  • Estimate and manage food costs, inventory, and supplies to maintain profitability and efficiency.
  • Supervise and train cooking staff, providing guidance and support to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
  • Develop and implement new recipes, menus, and cooking techniques to enhance our culinary offerings.
  • Collaborate with our culinary team to plan and execute special events, banquets, and catering services.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies, managing inventory and minimizing waste.
  • Plan and execute menu development, ensuring alignment with our culinary vision and customer preferences.
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, emphasizing food safety and quality standards.
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role, or equivalent experience.
  • Other trades certificate or diploma.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting.
