Responsibilities:
  • Estimate and manage food costs, inventory, and supplies
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff, including specialist chefs, chefs, and cooks
  • Develop and implement new recipes and menu items
  • Plan and execute special events and banquets
  • Ensure food safety and quality standards are met
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies
  • Train staff in food preparation, cooking, and handling
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Other trades certificate or diploma
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and stand for extended periods
