Job Description:

beBee Professionals is seeking an experienced Gala Event Coordinator to join our team in Calgary, Alberta. The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning and execution of high-end gala events. This includes developing event concepts, managing budgets, coordinating vendors, and ensuring the event runs smoothly.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement event concepts that meet client expectations
  • Manage event budgets and ensure timely execution
  • Coordinate with vendors to ensure seamless event execution
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve event goals
  • Ensure event logistics, including catering, audiovisual, and décor, are executed flawlessly
  • Manage event timelines and ensure timely completion


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in event planning, hospitality, or a related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in event planning
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of event planning software
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
