Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Team Management
- Create a safe and positive work environment for colleagues.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to health and safety.
- Support project managers and take on team lead responsibilities.
- Project Management
- Review cost estimates and other client deliverables.
- Support employees to prioritize and organize their work.
- Support employees with career development and performance.
- Business Development and Financial Management
- Support the financial success of the team by monitoring financial results.
- Implement changes or improvements to achieve desired financial results.
- Communication and Collaboration
- Communicate company policies and mandates to the Ecology team.
- Foster collaboration across the EcoEIA team and other WSP Business Lines.
- University degree in environmental or natural sciences, environmental engineering or other directly related disciplines.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a consulting environment with a focus on ecological project delivery.
- Professional registration (R.P.Bio, P. Biol., P.Ag, RPP etc.).
- Demonstrated ability to work with diverse teams and with multiple priorities.
- Strong business acumen and financial management experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Demonstrated success in team management and leadership.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong demonstration of health and safety leadership.
