Front Desk Associate

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Front Desk Associate to join our team at Holiday Inn Express Newmarket. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, managing room assignments, and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process.
Key Responsibilities- Guest Services: Register arriving guests, assign rooms, and provide information on hotel facilities and services.
- Room Management: Process group arrivals and departures, take, cancel, and change room reservations, and maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments.
- Front Desk Operations: Balance cash, complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms, and answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages.
- Customer Service: Provide customer service, assist clients/guests with special needs, and contact customers to deliver requested wake-up calls.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a hospitality industry setting.
- Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
This is a permanent, 30-hour per week position. The ideal candidate will be fluent in English or French and possess a strong client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, and flexibility.
