Front Desk Associate

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Front Desk Clerk to join our team at Holiday Inn Express Newmarket.
Job Summary:The Front Desk Clerk will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, handling room assignments, and managing front desk operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Guest Services: Register arriving guests, assign rooms, and provide information on hotel facilities and services.
- Front Desk Operations: Process group arrivals and departures, take, cancel, and change room reservations, and balance cash and complete balance sheets.
- Clerical Duties: Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments, and perform clerical tasks such as faxing, filing, and photocopying.
- Customer Service: Answer telephone calls, relay messages, and provide customer service to guests.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a hospitality industry setting.
- Language: English or French.
- Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
