Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Manager to join our team at 1921532 ONTARIO LTD. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Supervision
    • Supervise and motivate a team of sales associates, ensuring they provide excellent customer service and meet sales targets.
    • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to improve employee performance.
  • Inventory Management
    • Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of merchandise, ensuring accurate inventory levels and minimizing stockouts.
    • Implement effective inventory management systems to optimize stock levels and reduce waste.
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that customers receive exceptional service, responding promptly to their needs and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Monitor customer feedback and implement changes to improve the overall customer experience.
  • Financial Management
    • Prepare and manage the store's budget, ensuring that expenses are controlled and revenue targets are met.
    • Monitor sales trends and adjust pricing strategies to optimize revenue.
  • Store Maintenance
    • Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of the store, ensuring that it is clean, safe, and well-organized.
    • Implement energy-efficient practices to reduce the store's environmental impact.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail management role
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
