About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Fresh Food Centre. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our store runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Supervision
    • Supervise and manage a team of sales staff, including apprentices, stages hands, and design team members.
    • Assign sales workers to duties and ensure that they are equipped to provide excellent customer service.
  • Store Operations
    • Authorize payments by cheque and ensure that all financial transactions are accurate and up-to-date.
    • Authorize the return of merchandise and ensure that all returns are processed efficiently.
    • Establish work schedules and ensure that all staff are aware of their duties and responsibilities.
  • Reporting and Analysis
    • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters.
    • Provide regular updates to management on store performance and any issues that may arise.
  • Customer Service
    • Resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Ensure that all customer interactions are positive and that customers receive excellent service.
  • Inventory Management
    • Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure that the store is always fully stocked.
    • Monitor inventory levels and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Payroll Administration
    • Oversee payroll administration and ensure that all staff are paid accurately and on time.
  • Performance Management
    • Conduct regular performance reviews with staff to ensure that they are meeting their goals and objectives.
    About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will also need to have a strong understanding of retail operations and be able to analyze data and make recommendations for improvements.
