Job Title: Hotel Front Desk Clerk

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Hotel Front Desk Clerk to join our team at Best Value Inn & Suites. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable stay.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Register arriving guests and assign rooms
  • Process group arrivals and departures
  • Take, cancel and change room reservations
  • Provide information on hotel facilities and services
  • Process guests' departures, calculate charges and receive payments
  • Follow emergency and safety procedures
  • Clerical duties (i.e. faxing, filing, photocopying)
  • Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages

Requirements:

  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a hotel or customer service role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a professional demeanor
