We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Front Desk Clerk to join our team at Best Value Inn & Suites. As a Front Desk Clerk, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, handling room reservations, and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Register arriving guests and assign rooms
  • Process group arrivals and departures
  • Take, cancel and change room reservations
  • Provide information on hotel facilities and services
  • Provide general information about points of interest in the area
  • Process guests' departures, calculate charges and receive payments
  • Follow emergency and safety procedures
  • Clerical duties (i.e. faxing, filing, photocopying)
  • Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages
  • Assist clients/guests with special needs
  • Provide customer service
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • Standing for extended periods
  • Work under pressure
  • Client focus
  • Efficient interpersonal skills
  • Excellent oral communication
  • Excellent written communication
  • Organized
Work Environment:
  • Hotel, motel, resort
  • Rural area
Experience:
  • 7 months to less than 1 year
