Job Description

At Tim Hortons #889, we are seeking an experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to lead our team and drive business success.

About the Role

This is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to motivate and develop their team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing operational procedures, managing inventory, controlling cash handling, and ensuring health and safety regulations are followed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures
  • Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to team members
  • Cost products and services and negotiate arrangements with suppliers
  • Organize and maintain inventory levels to minimize waste and optimize sales
  • Ensure all health and safety regulations are followed and maintained
  • Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies
  • Participate in marketing plans and implementation to drive sales growth
  • Address customer complaints or concerns and provide exceptional customer service
  • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to meet business objectives
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in food service management
  • Budgetary responsibility: $0 - $100,000 per year
  • Supervision: 5-10 people
  • Computer and technology knowledge: Electronic cash register, MS Office, Point of sale system
  • Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Tight deadlines, Repetitive tasks, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Standing for extended periods
  • Personal suitability: Accurate, Client focus, Dependability, Efficient interpersonal skills, Excellent oral communication, Excellent written communication, Flexibility, Organized, Reliability, Team player
